Maha is the Strategy Director of Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor and an award-winning journalist based in Gaza, Palestinian territory. She holds a Master's degree in Political Science - Refugee Studies. Maha has worked with several human rights organisations and was previously the regional office manager of Euro-Med Monitor in the Palestinian territory. Before her work in the field of human rights, Maha worked as a war journalist where she reported on human rights abuses in the Palestinian territory. In 2020, she won the prestigious Martin Adler Prize for her work as a freelance journalist.
